Siam Ocean World Bangkok covers 10,000 square meters (the size of two football pitches) and the aquarium capacity of more than 4 million litres of water (equivalent to 3 Olympic swimming pools).

Siam Ocean World is a subsidiary of the Oceanis Australia Group, the world’s leading aquarium operator with more than 17 years of experience in the aquarium business. The group owns and operates renowned aquariums in Australia (Melbourne and Brisbane), China and South Korea.

The project, which includes a 2.8 million litre Oceanarium, represents a significant investment of US$30 million (approximately 1.26 billion baht). Door is open to the public on 9 December 2005 with the awaited grand opening of the Siam Paragon shopping complex.
